We see stainless steel everyday - in our cutlery, in our kitchen, in food production. It is also in the complex processing of oils, gasses and acids, having a large market for stainless tanks, pipes, pumps and valves.

 

Stainless steel is also used in desalination plants, sewage plants, offshore oilrigs, harbor supports and ship propellers.

 

Architecture also benefits from stainless steel. Buildings need stainless for cladding. Stainless steel reinforcements last longer. Infrastructure also depends on stainless steel for its low maintenance cost and anti-vandalism features.

 

Even nuclear power needs stainless steel. Stainless materials are known for its low cobal content in power generation and radiation containment.

 

Clean melted stainless on the other hand is used for medical implants and artificial hipos. Medical equipment too comes from stainless steel - orthopedic beds, cabinets, and examination machines. Pharmaceutical companies also use stainless for pill funnels and hoppers for piping creams and solutions.
